Message: There are some quite interesting differences between British and American English here. For example, in Am. Eng, replying to a comment with "please" pronunounced (roughly) "puh-LEESE" means "I totally disagree". That would sound very American in a Brit. Eng. context. Replies to this post No replies yet |
