looking for volunteers to take part in a linguistic experiment

Message:
Hi people! My name is Natalya. I am a post-graduate. I work and study at the department of the English language in Vladimir State University for the Humanities. Now I’m trying to finish my thesis. I study the accent and stress problem in English verbs with prefixes. To make my research sound real I need to make an experiment with people who speak British English. I would be very grateful if you and/or your friends will agree to help me and participate in my experiment.
The experiment is in the following. In the attached file to this letter there is a Questionnaire. Step 1 – You need just read (record on the dictaphone), spontaneously, the verbs in the table. This sound file will be very important for me. I will use it for the computer program PRAAT to make the necessary conclusions about accent in verbs. Step 2 – You need to answer two questions: à) mark in each verb the most strong vowels, as far as you perceive. You can just underline them in the verbs; b) answer the question «Can you perceive the beginning of each word as an independent part (prefix)» - here you can say “yes or no” or even give some comments. Step 3 – I would be pleased if you leave some short information about you.
On the whole, after the experiment there would be two files – the sound one and the one with the questionnaire (filled). I would be very grateful if you mail me these two files to: natasha_nau@list.ru
If you do not find all this difficult, I will really appreciate your help. Thank you for your time spent on this message.
